What started out as an open mic show for classical to contemporary music, turned into a weekly curated event, featuring top local to national performers and putting Charlotte on the map for genre-crossing talent.
Created and hosted by composer, vocalist, & multi-instrumentalist Elizabeth Kowalski “The Current” spotlights local to nationally recognized musicians & composers. It is a fantastic opportunity for performers & audience members to interact with each other during the quarantine. Audience participation via Q&A and live chat are encourages.
