Cassie Wieland: Hymn // Roulette

Composer Cassie Wieland presents her Roulette 2020 Jerome Commission HYMN, a work for solo piano and electronics written for and premiered by Vicky Chow. Alongside the commissioned work, Wieland will be presenting the world premiere of her completed ANATOMY series, a collection of short works for various instruments each inspired by a different part of the human body. She will be joining the ANATOMY series musicians onstage with live processed vocals.

HYMN was originally scheduled for Spring 2020, but was postponed and rescheduled due to Covid-19. Roulette’s Fall season will be presented virtually and available for free on a variety of streaming platforms.
