The works presented here establish a strong aesthetic identity for the ensemble through their embrace of electronic elements, refined gradation of noise textures, and virtuosic navigation of complex material. Works by Dennis Sullivan, Sam Pluta, Philip Schuessler, Nicholas Deyoe, and Erin Rogers.

I’m thrilled to join composer, vocalist, and scholar Gelsey Bell for her guided listening experience of modern and contemporary music. Each of Bell’s four sessions highlights a particular section of MoMA’s Fluxus audio archive and the Steven Lieber collection, and connects these rarely heard works to music currently being made in New York City. The final listening session will feature a short performance of our collaborative work Skylighght.
